Jan 2020 - I was traveling in Rio and needed some dental work. Sadly, the quality was poor. 6 months later, the crown they put on had developed a hole in it, as you can see in the photo. I had to pay $1500 in the US to get it fixed properly. On the other hand, the dental lenses I had done, are still in great shape as of Nov 2024, and I keep getting compliments on my teeth. The clinic 3D scanned my teeth, and also printed the veneers. Great work, though not perfect - one incisor lens ended up visibly sticking out compared to the other, despite my repeated requests to adjust it. I don't think the language barrier was the problem because I had talked to the dentist lady through an interpreter (Thiago from the front desk, very nice guy). Lastly, their appointment times were never honored. Every time I showed up, I had to wait 1-2 hours. This was back in 2020 though, so maybe things have improved since then. Overall, I *would* recommend this clinic, seeing from the response to my review that they really care. Unfortunately I had left Rio due to Covid in Feb 2020, and I couldn't come back for a fix. The crown hole only became visible a few months later.

I arrived at the clinic on the recommendation of a friend. I went in scared, because I have a TMJ problem and difficulty keeping my mouth open...but I needed to treat a root canal. The professionalism I came across and the affectionate attention I received from each of them helped me to overcome my fear. Excellent team, unique, won my trust and wonder! The result could not be different: treatment of the canal without pain, under intravenous sedation, in a "good sleep", calm and fast. I highly recommend!!! My thanks to all of you at odontoliuzzi.
