Damon metal braces

Locks that need to be tightened, and which cause pain in patients, are a thing of the past. The reason for this is the unique technology of sliding mechanics present in the Damon System - a fixed device that allows orthodontists to use extremely gentle forces to move the teeth in the correct position. With these locks, unlike conventional ones, there is a clip that closes the wire inside the lock, like a kind of door, and which allows the orthodontist to tie the wire into a slot without ligatures, which greatly simplifies the procedure. It creates less friction, less pain and less force, which is important for healthy gums and the bone through which the tooth travels during orthodontic movement. Reduces the number of visits and time spent in the office. They are simpler, more comfortable and better for both the patient and the orthodontist. With Damon fixed devices, the duration of therapy is often significantly shorter than that with conventional devices (studies have shown up to 6 months), and shorter therapy times mean fewer visits to controls. The therapy itself is much more pleasant for the patient because most of them do not feel the slightest discomfort.
