    The base of the crown is made of a metal alloy that is completely covered with ceramic so that the metal part is not visible. The main advantage of metal-ceramic crowns is that the metal in the substrate gives a distinct strength. Also, due to their strength and consistency, they are often used in covering the premolars and molars where strong masticatory forces are present.

Zircon-ceramic crowns and bridges are characterized by biocompatibility and precision, while maintaining the natural aesthetics of the teeth. As zircon-ceramic crowns are made very precisely, cleaning is facilitated, and the irritation of the gums is reduced (due to the possibility of high polishing and accuracy of access to the crown).   • Complete dentures

    The total denture is made especially for the upper and lower jaw in situations when all natural teeth are lost in one of the jaws. Complete dentures consist of a base on which teeth are placed. The base is made of pink acrylate, which blends in with the color of the mucous membrane and thus supports the entire aesthetic work. The purpose of the base is to distribute the chewing forces that occur when chewing on the mucosa and bone base. As the mucosa itself cannot withstand heavy loads, it is important that the base be as wide as possible so that the masticatory forces are distributed over as large an area as possible, thus achieving a safer and more pleasant bite. The upper base covers the entire palate, and the lower base has the shape of a horseshoe, leaving free space for the tongue. The complete prosthesis should be removed and washed and disinfected at least once a day with appropriate means, and it is recommended to wash it after every meal and before bed.

Ovom prilikom želim da se zahvalim dr. Asotiću na bezbolnom, stručnom zahvatu vađenja osmica i preporučim svima ovog stručnjaka. Trebala sam izvaditi sve četiri osmice, a radi nepovoljnog položaja istih, oralni hirurzi koje sam posjetila prije dr. Asotića su me odbili i nisu htjeli da ih uklone. Dr. Asotić mi je izvadio sve četiri, dvije po dvije u razmaku od 15 dana. Vađenje je proteklo bez ikakvih problema, bezbolno i brzo, a i period poslije, uz upute tima, je prosao uredno. Uvjerena u stručnost ovog doktora, iskreno preporučujem svima, a i sama bih opet otišla u slučaju potrebe vršenja bilo kakvih zahvata u ovom domenu.
