Zircon-ceramic crowns and bridges are characterized by biocompatibility and precision, while maintaining the natural aesthetics of the teeth. Since mechanical resistance is already achieved with a thickness of 0.4 m, less grinding of the natural tooth is required before placing the crown. As zircon-ceramic crowns are made very precisely, cleaning is facilitated, and the irritation of the gums is reduced (due to the possibility of high polishing and accuracy of access to the crown). Complete dentures consist of a base on which teeth are placed. The base is made of pink acrylate, which blends in with the color of the mucous membrane and thus supports the entire aesthetic work. The purpose of the base is to distribute the chewing forces that occur when chewing on the mucosa and bone base. As the mucosa itself cannot withstand heavy loads, it is important that the base be as wide as possible so that the masticatory forces are distributed over as large an area as possible, thus achieving a safer and more pleasant bite. The upper base covers the entire palate, and the lower base has the shape of a horseshoe, leaving free space for the tongue.
