Gürkan graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Dentistry in 1998 in Ankara - capital of Turkey. Upon graduation, he partnered with a general health polyclinic for 2 years in Ankara and later on he moved to Izmir. Here, he served as a partner and employee of the Private Izmir General Health Polyclinic for 7 years. In 2008, he opened his private clinic in Izmir and started to work especially in the fields of implant applications and cosmetic dentistry. In 2021 he established Dent Glow Clinic. His aim is to meet the increasing demands with his professional team by ensuring the high-quality dental treatments.

Ms. Sezin and Mr. Ferhat are a super team. I traveled from Virginia, USA to recieve treatment at Dent Glow I recently had a dental appointment with Dr. Çigdem, her assistant Zeynep, Ferhat, and the translator Gözde, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best dental experiences I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel comfortable. Dr. Çigdem and her team were extremely knowledgeable and skilled, taking the time to explain the procedure to me and answer all of my questions. They were also very gentle and considerate, making sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Zeynep was an excellent assistant, anticipating Dr. Çigdem's needs and making sure that I was comfortable at all times. Ferhat was also great, stepping in to assist when needed and ensuring that the procedure was completed to the highest standards. Finally, Gözde was an invaluable asset, as she helped to translate for me and ensure that I fully understood everything that was happening during the procedure. Her friendly and professional demeanor put me at ease and made the entire process much easier. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Çigdem and her team at Dent Glow for anyone in need of dental care.
